I loathed doing the mlnl crossword today. For example: 4 ACROSS is
unfathomable to me. As a subscriber and a regular puzzle solver. I HOPE THIS PUZZLE WIll NOT SERVE AS A MODEL FOR FUTURE MINIS.Reply

The answer posted for the June 11, 2024, Mini Crossword for the number 1, across question is wrong. It is “SAD” not “SAF.” Otherwise, the correct answer to number 3, down question would have to be: “FICES”, not “DICES”. And “DICES” is correct.
